I am not allowed to look in Peggy Porschen's book Romantic Cakes anymore. My workmates, my boyfriend, my flatmate, my boss and the people I catch the bus with have all banned me.You see, before I open the book, I can easily be mistaken for a reasonably intelligent individual with a fairly critical eye. But once I get beyond that cover, the nothing-short-of-gorgeous cookies, cupcakes and wedding cakes, as photographed by the very talented Georgia Glynn Smith, do something very strange to me.
